FOR SAVELIFE LMS CONTENT USAGE

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Learning Management System (LMS) developed under the Erasmus+ KA220-HED SaveLife [2022-1-TR01-KA220-HED-000089373] project. By registering for an account and accessing the content, you agree to abide by these terms.

2. Content Ownership and Public Availability

All content within this LMS, including but not limited to text, videos, animations, e-books, and other materials, has been developed as part of an Erasmus+ funded project. The intellectual property rights (IPR) for these materials are held by the project consortium. However, as per Erasmus+ program guidelines, the outputs of this project are made publicly available under open access principles to support broader educational use.

3. Licensing and Public Access

All content in this LMS is provided under an open license, Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA). This license allows users to:

  • Access, use, and share the materials freely for educational and non-commercial purposes.
  • Modify or adapt the materials, provided that any derivative works are shared under the same open license.
  • Properly credit the original creators and the Erasmus+ project when using or sharing the content.
Commercial use of the materials is prohibited without prior written consent from the project consortium.

4. Copyright and Intellectual Property

The materials within the LMS are either created originally by the project team or licensed through third-party agreements to ensure compliance with intellectual property regulations. All third-party content is credited to its respective creators and licensed accordingly. Users must not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright or other proprietary notices.

5. Data Protection and Privacy

The LMS collects personal data during the registration process, which is used solely for managing your learning experience and ensuring compliance with project objectives. All data is handled in accordance with GDPR guidelines and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

6. Participant Responsibilities

By using the LMS, you agree to:

  • Use the materials only for educational and non-commercial purposes.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of the content creators.
  • Participate in feedback mechanisms, such as surveys or assessments, that aim to improve the content and platform.
  • Follow any specific usage guidelines provided for certain content (e.g., video licensing restrictions).

7. Workshops and Training Sessions

Workshops related to content development, translations, and visual materials are an integral part of the project’s implementation. Participants are expected to actively engage and adhere to the guidelines during these sessions, which are critical to the success of the project outputs.

8. Content Updates and Revisions

The project consortium reserves the right to update or revise the content within the LMS based on feedback or project evaluations. Users will be notified of any significant changes to the materials or platform structure.

9. Liability

The project consortium cannot be held liable for any damages or losses incurred through the use or misuse of the LMS or its contents. The platform and materials are provided “as is,” without any warranties regarding their accuracy or completeness.

10. Termination of Access

Users who violate these Terms and Conditions may have their access to the LMS terminated. The consortium reserves the right to take appropriate action if users fail to comply with these terms.

11. Updates to Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect changes in project implementation or legal requirements. Registered users will be informed of any updates in a timely manner.
