Module A1
Learning objectives

1. Know the definition of anaphylaxis, its most common trigger factors, and its main pathogenetic mechanisms
2. Apply the ABCDE approach to anaphylaxis recognition and differentiate life-threatening and non-life-threatening conditions which can mimic anaphylaxis
3. Know the anaphylaxis algorithm
4. Define the patient's position and to remove the trigger factor if possible
5. Recognise the respiratory arrest in patient with anaphylaxis
6. Perform ACLS survey for respiratory arrest
7. Know the specific features of the drugs used in anaphylaxis treatment
